Treatments through naturopathy The classic naturopathic methods are largely integrated into conventional medicine (conventional medicine) and are widely used there. They include nutrition, exercise, relaxation, the use of water, light, cold and heat as well as herbal remedies (phytotherapy). In addition to the classic methods, there are other naturopathic approaches that are often included. The following methods are based on the basic understanding of alternative medicine naturopathy: Aromatherapy, acupuncture or acupressure, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in general (also: nutrition according to TCM), Ayurveda, kinesiology, Bach flower therapy, chiropractic, bioresonance therapy (BRT), ear acupuncture, osteopathy, cupping, etc. Phytotherapy: Phytotherapy is about the medicinal use of plants. Often also referred to as herbal medicine, this alternative medicine method focuses on the healing effect of herbal medicines. Natural remedies are intended to combat complaints and relieve pain. Examples of phytotherapeutic procedures or remedies Juice (= pressing), extract (= active ingredient extract), e.g. in the form of tinctures, infusion (= tea), decoction (= boiling), maceration (= cold water extract).
